First Teams Will Be Solid/Need Backups To Emerge

One of the biggest takeaways from the program has been the progress of the first-team offense and defense.

The offensive and defensive lines will be competitive enough to win the games they need to win on the schedule. FSU has two capable quarterbacks, and the running back unit will be fine.

Wide receivers have progressed through fall camp, with Darion Williamson joining Malik McClain and Joshua Burrell as potential contributors.

Jordan Wilson has emerged and will likely join Camren McDonald as a solid 1-2 punch that will be an upgrade over last year.

The secondary is talented, and I think the starting linebacker unit will be an improvement. I think depth is the biggest question mark at certain positions.

If I could guarantee no starters would get hurt, I’d feel comfortable saying the Noles would win six games.

Of course, injuries are a part of the game, and some younger players need to continue developing. The first units are solid across the board, from what I can tell.
