FSU football: Top 5 storylines going into 2021 fall camp

Defensive Secondary
Asante Samuel Jr. and Hamsah Nasirildeen hearing their names called in the 2021 NFL Draft means the Noles will have a lot of new faces in their defensive secondary.
The talent is there as it’s one position the program has recruited well over the past couple of years. The question is, who is going to play where?
Meiko Dotson, Akeem Dent, Jarvis Brownlee, Jarrian Jones, Brandon Moore, Kevin Knowles, Hunter Washington, Omarion Cooper, and Demorie Tate(if healthy) will be in the mix at cornerback.
Jammie Robinson, Travis Jay, Brendan Gant, Renardo Green, Shyheim Brown, Sidney Williams, and Jadarius Green-McKnight will be vying for time at the safety position.
That’s a lot of bodies, but the Noles will be moving to more of a 4-2-5 defense, implementing five defensive backs on the field.
I’m curious to see which players will lock down the boundary and field cornerback positions. Who will lock up the two safety positions?
This unit needs to improve quite a bit if the ‘Noles defense is to achieve any expectations of improvement over last season. This unit should be better as long as the defense can field some sort of pass rush.
