The Players Put In Work

The word accountability was used a lot over the past year and would be key in the player’s progress this offseason.

Would the players put in the necessary work when they didn’t have to? Would they hold one another accountable?

Would the coaches be able to hold them accountable? It looks like the answer to that has been a resounding YES. The players put in work in the weight room and had player-led 7on7 practices, among other workouts.

The players look bigger and stronger physically, and the proof bears out in the pictures.

There is a physical difference in the players now compared to the past couple of years. It’s not just a couple of players that look like they have made stark improvements.

Summer workouts can be the difference between being good and great, and by all accounts, players are willingly putting in the work.
