FSU football: Ranking the five most important games on the 2021 schedule

NC State is a team the Noles have split the last two games with, blowing them out in 2018 and NC State rolling the Noles in 2019.
NC State returns experience at quarterback and several other key positions. Most folks are picking them to finish in the upper half of the ACC Atlantic Division. However, it’s a game the Noles could win if they play well.
The NC State game comes at a critical point in the schedule as it’s sandwiched between the Clemson and Miami games.
Nobody expects the Noles to go on the road and defeat Clemson, but FSU usually plays NC State well in Doak Campbell Stadium.
It’ll be important for the Noles to play well and hopefully secure a win before hosting Miami the following week.
A win would give the Noles confidence going into the Miami game, unlike losing back-to-back games against Clemson and NC State.
