Mike Norvell Is Confident

The video below with former FSU cornerback Bryant McFadden might have been the first time I’ve seen Mike Norvell speak with a level of certainty about the future of the program.

I don’t think Mike Norvell believes they’ll win 10 games this year, but I think he believes they’ll be an improved team.

I’ve heard him say things like he’s not going to put any limits on how good the program can be and whatnot, but that felt like a confident man speaking to Bryant McFadden.

I keep alluding to it, but confidence comes from putting in the work required to be great. I’ve watched this coaching staff grind like no other the past few months.

We know they put in the work before that because they’ve gotten the results to show for it on the recruiting trail despite a 15-month dead period and winning three games last season.

I’m curious to see if this confidence carries over to his interviews after fall camp begins.
