FSU football: 10 most realistic 2022 recruiting targets remaining
By Kelvin Hunt
Parting Thoughts
That’s 10 quality players (nine blue-chip) the Noles have a realistic shot of gaining a commitment from in the 2022 class.
There are a couple of other targets that could ultimately come into the picture, but right now, this is where we stand.
The expectation is Jaylen Early will commit next week, so that leaves nine players for about seven spots. However, the offensive line recruitment could change that number.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see a de-commitment from an offensive lineman or two if Early and Pritchett committed. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Early, Pritchett, and Eston Harris Jr commit, especially if Armella begins to trend elsewhere.
I’m not saying Armella will, but his recruitment seems less clear than the other offensive tackle targets. FSU offensive line commit Antavious Woody could move to defensive tackle to clear some space.
Linebacker recruitment could shake things up as well, but the Noles would be in excellent shape if they got both Willis and Martin to commit.
Overall, I think FSU football has a solid shot to land at least half of these players on the list. That would be an incredible haul in any recruiting year, much less a program that won three games in 2020.
