FSU football: Top 5 dark horse players going into 2021 season
By Kelvin Hunt
Bryan Robinson
I’m going to go out on a limb here, but if a dark horse were going to emerge, the wide receiver position would be the perfect place.
The talented freshman ranked as the No. 180 player overall and No. 32 wide receiver in the 2019 recruiting class.
Robinson was an early enrollee and played in three games, but injuries kept him out of the lineup the rest of last season.
He has shown flashes in practice and could surpass some older players on the depth chart if he’s able to stay healthy.
I like his blend of size and speed at the slot position. Robinson likes playing physically and should benefit from improved quarterback play in 2021.
Heck, the ability to have a spring and fall camp will be beneficial. If the Noles can get something like 20-25 receptions for 250-300 yards in 2021, it would be a huge boost for the offense.
