Offensive Tackle

This unit is one with several quality options left on the table. The coaching staff has four offensive linemen committed, with two listed as an offensive tackle.

Qae’shon Sapp and Aliou Bah list as offensive tackles, and they probably can play tackle in a pinch. Kanaya Charlton will play guard, and Antavious Woody lists as an interior lineman.

It’s good to have some players with the ability to play both positions, but the staff would like to land some true offensive tackles.

Here are a few of the remaining targets:

  • Elijah Pritchett: No. 97 player overall
  • Julian Armella: No. 124 player overall
  • Jaylen Early: No. 201 player overall
  • Eston Harris Jr.: No. 414 player overall
  • Daughtry Richardson: No. 459 player overall

Both Early and Richardson are set to announce their commitments within the next couple of weeks. FSU seems to have a good shot at both players. Harris Jr. plans to visit FSU again when the dead period ends in a few days. If they could get those two and one of the remaining three, particularly Pritchett?

That would be a home run class for offensive linemen.
