Quarterbacks Improved Over 2020

The Noles go into the 2021 season in a much better position with QB experience and depth. Last season Jordan Travis became the starter after leading the Noles in a comeback victory against Jacksonville State.

Travis missed much of fall camp with injuries, and Mike Norvell adapted a shell of his offense t work towards Travis’s strengths.

However, Jordan Travis got a ton of game experience last year and had a full spring to develop in Mike Norvell’s full offense. He’ll have fall camp to continue that development, which should pay dividends when it’s game time.

UCF transfer McKenzie Milton entered the conversation after enrolling at FSU football in the spring. Milton is battling back from a horrific leg injury but seemed to be turning the corner in learning Mike Norvell’s offense at the end of spring camp.

He brings a ton of experience from his days at UCF and would be an upgrade over the last few years of QB play if he’s close to that level of play.

The quarterback position will be a strength in 2021.
