Experience

I covered the talent on the defense, and that’s not including some blue-chip reserves and freshmen, who could take some snaps away from upper-classmen.

Almost all of those players listed have real game experience and played a lot of snaps, whether they were at FSU or elsewhere.

There’s experience at every level from the defensive line, linebackers, and the secondary.

All this unit needs is a defensive coordinator that can coordinate all three levels working together for the common goal of playing effective defense.

Adam Fuller has proven he can make big improvements in his first year with a new program. I don’t think the circumstances of last year make it fair to count 2020 as year one.

The team had a full spring camp, and I anticipate they will have a full fall camp. I think that factor will be a difference-maker for Fuller.
