FSU football: Impact of Destyn Hill’s enrollment delay with Noles
By Kelvin Hunt
Final Thoughts
This situation all depends on how things work out. If Hill’s delayed enrollment(and I could guarantee his enrollment) meant the Noles could get both Wilkins and Cushnie?
I’d take that trade-off, considering I don’t expect Hill to be that much of a different-maker as a player that didn’t enroll early.
For instance, I don’t think Hill enrolling takes the team from five wins to six wins or six wins to seven. However, the addition of the two transfers could have a larger impact more immediate and long-term.
The four years of eligibility for a talented player like Wilkins holds a ton of value for an offensive line that needs talent at the tackle position.
Cushnie having two years left at defensive end holds a lot of value since the Noles had zero pass rush the past couple of seasons.
I hope we get to see Destyn Hill in the garnet and gold sooner than later. If his enrollment is delayed past the fall, this is a scenario the coaching staff could make a positive out of a negative.
