Impact of Midnight Madness

The biggest impact is the perception of FSU football right now. The buzz on social media Sunday night was incredible with how the coaching staff created a countdown to midnight.

It was the kind of excitement that had rival fans nervous, as I saw several posts wondering how the Noles had more buzz around their program than otherwise.

I think buzz created Sunday night surprised some FSU football fans. As I mentioned in an earlier piece, fans were retweeting and commenting for hours non-stop, and many stayed up past midnight to see what was going to happen.

It’s one thing to get players on campus, but the ability to get top 150 players in the nation on campus all at once is impressive.

Guess what? These players will go to other places and talk to other recruits about their experience.

Those conversations will influence those players to want to check out what Mike Norvell and the staff are doing that’s so different.

Mike Norvell has everything orchestrated and organized, as recruits will have every opportunity to return visit Tallahassee for June’s football camps.
