Recruiting

Recruiting is the lifeblood of a program and having an electric atmosphere goes a long way in influencing young men to commit and sign with a college.

There’s a reason why college coaches try to schedule those official visits when they know the crowd will be electric.

If you were a recruit, you can’t tell me that atmosphere wouldn’t make a difference in your decision.

Not to mention the difference if you were recruited by other teams that have 80,000+ in the stands for home games. This aspect is something I’ve been imploring FSU fans about the past few years.

I know Tallahassee isn’t the easiest place to get to, but fans need to show up to home games. Elite recruits want to play big-time football, and having 60,000 in the stands that hold nearly 80,000 doesn’t make it seem like big-time football.

Several players have already locked in their official visits for the Notre Dame game, and having a full stadium will let them know FSU is the place to be.
