Video Highlights

The video posted well before the draft, and I don’t think Nasirildeen and Isaiah Simmons are good comps.

All of the content in this video is going off of the assumption Nasirildeen will play safety at the next level.

However, what sticks out the most about Nasirildeen is the ability to look at a play pre-snap and having a good idea of where the play will go (3:02 mark).

There’s footage of him lining up in the box (2:39 mark) and coming off the edge as a blitzer (4:02 mark).

Nasirildeen was always best coming downhill against the run as opposed to playing in coverage down the field. He wasn’t the fastest safety before the ACL injury, so moving him to linebacker will limit the amount of space he has to cover in the passing game.

He has the physicality and size to play linebacker and will lay the wood to opposing ball carriers. Check out the (5:17) mark where he comes downhill and shoots a lane, and demolishes the ball carrier.
