It’s All About The Work

Listen, I’ve never seen an instance where hard work didn’t pay off. If a player is talented and consistently puts in the work, the results will come.

Janarius Robinson, Joshua Kaindoh, Hamsah Nasirildeen are prime examples. All three players ranked in the top 100 players in their respective recruiting classes.

Robinsons was raw coming out of high school and needed big-time development. Kaindoh ranked No. 10 overall and dealt with injuries that made it difficult for that development to occur.

Nasirildeen was on pace to be go much higher than the sixth round had he not suffered a devastating injury at the end of the 2019 season against Florida.

All three players had three things in common. They were talented, worked hard, and were good teammates.

Nasirildeen was the only one of the three that lived anywhere up to or surpassed his recruiting ranking. He worked to come back only to play in two games last season. Robinson was steady at his position but wasn’t a big impact type of player. One could argue Kaindoh was a huge bust as a former five-star player.

Janarius Robinson’s family lost everything in a hurricane a couple of years ago, and he’s a first-generation college student. He’s overcome a lot just to get to this moment. All three players endured three different head coaches and three different defensive coordinators.

Good things happen to people that do things the right way, and those references I mentioned earlier will vouch for you when the time comes too. The fans notice as well, and that’s why you saw so many fans on social media excited as each of their names were called on Saturday.

There’s a reason Mike Norvell and the coaching staff talk about putting in the work all the time. It produces results, and FSU football players should absorb what happened over the past few days and apply it to every aspect of their lives.
