Jermaine Johnson

Jermaine Johnson was the first transfer of the 2021 recruiting cycle that caught folk’s attention when he signed with the Noles.

It was a sign of things to come, and Johnson has been as good as advertised according to most practice reports. The Noles need a pass rush, and he’s looked unstoppable through spring camp.

Even if Johnson doesn’t live up to the hype, I think this year’s draft showed teams will take chances on guys that look the part and have good measurables.

Janarius Robinson and Joshua Kaindoh had mediocre careers at FSU from a production standpoint. Robinson to a lesser extent, because he wasn’t a top 10 recruit and did have some decent stats to accumulate over time.

We heard both of their names called in the fourth round of the NFL Draft over the weekend.

Jermaine Johnson looks the part and has the measurables. If he puts up some respectable numbers in 2021, there’s no question we’ll hear his name called in the 2021 NFL Draft.
