FSU football: Impact of Rodney Hill commitment to the Noles
By Kelvin Hunt
Playmaker
Rodney Hill has good size and the ability to play both running back and wide receiver. He’ll have a chance to be effective running between the tackles or catching passes out of the backfield.
One thing that stands out is Hill’s ability to make players miss in space and the quick burst. Hill plays with a chip on his shoulder and looks to bring the fight to would-be tacklers.
It’s rare for one player to bring him down and usually requires several players to bring him down.
Another thing that stands out is his patience as a runner because Hill doesn’t try to immediately bounce runs outside.
As a receiver, Hill high-points the ball well and isn’t afraid to fight for the ball when the coverage is tight.
Hill ran a verified 11.27 100-meter dash in 2019 and has likely improved that time by quite a bit.
The Noles are getting a quality player from an area that needs to be productive for them. Welcome to Tribe22 Rodney Hill!
