FSU football: Impact of Rodney Hill commitment to the Noles
By Kelvin Hunt
Recruiting Momentum
Rodney Hill will likely be the first of multiple commitments the Noles will receive over the next day or so, with so many recruits in attendance for the spring game.
The FSU football coaching staff emphasized getting back to the roots of where FSU has had success historically.
Hill fits that mold as he hails from Georgia, which is close in proximity to FSU and produces a ton of blue-chip talent.
Hill is the eighth commit in the 2022 recruiting class and places the Noles at No. 10 nationally and No. 1 in the ACC Conference.
There are several other recruits from Georgia the Noles are recruiting hard and the Hill commitment will be one more piece to help create a foothold in the state.
Travis Hunter hails from Georgia, big-time QB target MJ Morris, and offensive line target Kanaya Charlton is from the Peach State.
