The 2022 FSU football recruiting class got better Saturday with the commitment of three-star athlete Rodney Hill.

I wrote earlier in the week Hill de-committed from his verbal pledge from Virginia and the Noles were the favorite to land the playmaker.

The biggest reason Hill de-committed was due to the FSU offer and UVA fans knew that as soon as the offer came.

Hill announced the decision before the spring game in front of the Unconquered Statue on campus FSU quarterback commit Nicco Marchiol by his side.

Hill checks in at 6’0″ 186 pounds and is the No. 542 ranked player nationally, No. 48 athlete, and No. 53 player in Georgia.

He holds 25 offers from FSU, Kentucky, Maryland, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Yale, and other smaller schools.

The Noles are recruiting him as a running back, where he has track speed and plays basketball in high school.

Let’s take a look at the impact of his commitment.
