FSU football had several former players participating at their FSU Pro Day Monday with the NFL Combine not taking place like normal due to COVID-19.
Most of the players participating were a part of Jimbo Fisher’s 2017 recruiting class which consisted of several players ranked in the top 100 recruiting in the nation.
Cam Akers was a part of that class and the LA Rams drafted him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Marvin Wilson, Joshua Kaindoh, Hamsah Nasirildeen, and Tamorrion Terry were a part of that 2017 class. Janarius Robinson was a part of the 2016 class, and Asante Samuel Jr. was a part of the 2018 class.
Here are the numbers on how they performed at the FSU Pro Day:
NFL trend moving more toward position-less hybrid defenders and @FSUFootball Hamsah Nasirildeen fits that mold. Didn’t run 40-yd or BJ due to hamstring injury during training. NFL scout says he gutted thru” today’s workout.

You see the eyes emoji from Jim Nagy, which means the length of Hamsah’s arms is incredible and a great asset to have at defensive back. He doesn’t have elite explosion with a 32 inch vertical and a 7.05 three-cone time. The comments about gutting through the workout make me believe he’s still not fully healthy.
