Final Thoughts

This team already has more spring practices than it did a year ago and things seem to be progressing nicely.

The quarterback room looks to be further along in picking up Mike Norvell’s offense. The young wide receivers are making strides.

The communication between the players and coaches on both sides of the ball is good, resulting in fewer penalties.

By golly, it sounds like they are starting to become a real football team again! Another thing I noticed was how much Mike Norvell talked about physicality at practices.

Those wars are starting to show up with players getting banged up, but physicality is a must if a football wants to be great.

It sets the tone for many facets, running the football, defense, and an overall mentality of domination. We’re hearing a lot of the same names through the first two weeks.

I’m curious to see if any new players will begin to emerge next week.
