FSU football will get its spring practice underway Tuesday, and defense may be the biggest question mark about this team right now.

That’s a stark contrast from a year ago when most folks felt like the defense would carry things until Mike Norvell could implement his offense.

Of course, the pandemic changed everything and the Noles only had one spring practice in full pads.

The team has had a strong offseason so far, with the players enduring strength and conditioning, weightlifting, and the Tour of Duty workouts the past couple of months.

They have a large number of early enrollees composed of freshmen and players from the transfer portal.

I have faith in the FSU offense, and all they need is a decent to good quarterback to compete with most teams.

The FSU defense isn’t that clear. A lot of fans don’t have faith in FSU defensive coordinator Adam Fuller. Will the 15 practices, summer, and fall camps enough to make a difference with all of the new faces?
