Malik McClain

One of the two wide receivers to enroll early is four-star wide receiver, Malik McClain. McClain was the No. 270 ranked player overall, No. 42 wide receiver, and No. 37 player in Florida.

Wide receiver is one of the most difficult positions for freshmen to excel because there are many nuances.

Enrolling early is one of the biggest reasons I have McClain listed, but his size and speed are difficult to ignore.

I can see him being a threat in the red zone and on post/go routes in Mike Norvell’s offense. McClain also proved to be adept at making things happen in the screen game while at IMG academy.

Check this out:

It’s going to be hard to keep that size and speed off the field if McClain can get in the playbook and learn things. We saw Keyshawn Helton shine some as a true freshman, and McClain could do the same thing.
