FSU football: Is 2021 recruiting class better than Fisher’s 2010 class?

Difference Makers

This group of players helped Jimbo Fisher get over the hump in his early FSU days. A few of these players were key contributors to FSU’s 2013 National Title.

  • Lamarcus Joyner: 5-star safety (2nd round NFL Draft)
  • Christian Jones: 5-star LB (Undrafted)
  • Kenny Shaw: 4-star WR (Undrafted)
  • Telvin Smith: 4-star LB (4th round NFL Draft)
  • Mike Harris: 3-star JUCO CB (6th round NFL Draft)
  • Cameron Erving: 3-star OL (1st round NFL Draft)
  • Terrance Brooks: 3-star Safety (3rd round NFL Draft)
  • Bjorn Werner: 3-star DE (1st round NFL Draft)

I don’t have to go into the accomplishments of these players. The only one that some FSU football fans may have forgotten is Mike Harris. Harris went on to be selected in the sixth round by the Jacksonville Jaguars after two years at FSU.

Jones and Shaw were the only two players listed that were not drafted, but Jones was signed as an undrafted free agent and is still in the NFL as of last season.
