2010 Non-Factors

The 2010 recruiting class had a blue-chip ratio of 37.5 percent (9 of 24) and 41 percent if you want to leave out the two players that didn’t qualify.

We’ll go with the latter since those two players never enrolled with FSU football. So, that’s 22 players left and how many of those players never contributed or rarely saw the field for the Noles?

  • Tank Sessions: 3-star TE Medical DQ
  • Daniel Foose: 3-star OT
  • Holmes Onwukaife: 3-star LB Medical DQ
  • Nigel Terrell: 4-star LB
  • Darious Cummings: 4-star DT Transferred after two years
  • Jarred Haggins: 3-star WR
  • Will Tye: 3-star TE Transferred after two years

That’s 31.8 percent of the class (7 of 22), and truthfully I could have put one or two other players in this category. The term non-factor is broad, but I’m going to reserve it for players that offered nothing of note regardig production on the field.
