FSU basketball has looked like a completely different team since losing to Clemson in late December and a two-week layoff due to COVID-19 issues.

The two games before Clemson saw FSU struggle to pull away from Garder Webb late, and a loss to Central Florida.

That three-game stretch saw the Noles struggle in almost every aspect. Offensively, they were turning the ball over too much, shooting too many three-pointers, and getting whipped on the boards.

Here’s an in-depth look at that three-game stretch:

I wasn’t kidding when I was harping about the Noles taking too many three-point shots. An amazing 50.5 percent of their shots were from beyond-the-arc.

They were 46 of 67 from the free-throw line (68.6 percent ) and had 47 turnovers during the three-game stretch.

They were -7 on the boards against Central Florida and -14 rebounds against Clemson in both losses.

These are all things Leonard Hamilton addressed during the two weeks they didn’t have games. I’m not sure how he did it, but there have been major changes in how they have been operating offensively.
