  • Jaiden Lars-Woodbey: 4-star DB (Transfer Portal)
  • Amari Gainer: 4-star LB
  • Robert Cooper: 4-star DT
  • Camren McDonald: 4-star TE

Jaiden Lars-Woodbey was an ESPN Freshman All-American. However, a season-ending injury in 2019 changed the trajectory of his career. He was never the same player after that and opted to hit the transfer portal.

Amari Gainer has emerged as one of the better defensive players on the team. The staff seems to have struggled to find a spot for him on the defensive, but he’s someone that needs to be on the field.

Robert Cooper has worked diligently to reshape his body and has lost tons of weight, which has allowed his play to improve a lot. He had a good sophomore season and was one of the most consistent players on the defensive line in 2020. He has a chance to make the Impact Players list in 2021.

Camren McDonald was the most experienced tight end on the roster going into 2020 but only had six career receptions. However, he proved to be a reliable option, tallying 23 receptions for 233 yards and two touchdowns. He also has a chance to make the Impact Players list in 2021.
