FSU football: 3 things we learned from 2020 season

FSU Offense Showed Potential
The way the FSU offense finished 2020 was night and day from how they began the season.
They went from being unable to do anything against Georgia Tech to scoring 56 points against Duke in the season finale.
The offense was Jordan Travis in a nutshell. If he was healthy and on the field, the offense averaged over 30 points per game.
His ability to extend plays was important, but the offensive line did a better job of giving him a pocket to throw the ball too.
The running game was the best it has been in quite some time as all of FSU running backs averaged 4.95 yards per carry or more.
The best thing is they were not running the full Mike Norvell offense, so things should only get better once players can learn it.
Jordan Travis returns, and the Noles have already signed a lot of experience in the transfer portal with McKenzie Milton and Andrew Parchment. If they can land another offensive tackle, the offense could make some noise in 2021.
