FSU football: Examining where your booster money helps
By Kelvin Hunt
A reminder there are normally 85 scholarship football players alone, not to mention 30+ for baseball, and other sports with double-digit players. More money means the ability to hire more trainers, etc. That means FSU athletes could receive more attention during rehabbing and getting back on the field/court quicker.
Two full-time dieticians with hundreds of athletes, with many needing personalized nutrition plans. Remember how we talk about the lack of player development over the past few years? This is a prime example of how it could make it more difficult for players to develop if they are not adding or losing necessary weight.
We all want our student-athletes to be successful after college.
There’s that word player development again, imagine being able to hire more support staff here so players are receiving more attention to get bigger, stronger, and faster.
Self explanatory, but having the ability to make hires and not have to pinch pennies when hiring the entire staff would be great.
Self explanatory, and hopefully will be something where that money can go elsewhere once this pandemic is over.
Self-explanatory.
There’s always a need for new equipment, not to mention how being able to hire more than six staff members would be beneficial for all of the FSU sports programs.
