FSU football has seen several players enter the transfer portal.

FSU football fans are looking for some good news to help them feel better about the state of the program.

One of the things that seem to have the most concern is the rate at which FSU players are leaving the program for the transfer portal.

I have read this phrase several times on social media something must be wrong within the program if all of these players are leaving?

Well, I think it highlights what has been wrong with the program in the last few years.

Mike Norvell has consistently said, playing in his program isn’t for everybody. We have evidence from observers of his practices(recruits and coaches that have seen his practices and the previous coaching staff), and they have said those practices were drastically different.

The structure and level of intensity are different. Now, couple that difference with players that have gotten accustomed to losing and a coaching staff that’s the total opposite in terms of structure and intensity.

Some players have had issues with multiple coaching staff. Players are not used to being held accountable.

The players and coaches do what they can in the fall after missing most of spring and summer. The opening game comes, and the Noles blow a chance to win their opening game since 2016, and that loss is followed by a blowout loss against Miami.

The team’s 0-2, and there’s nothing to play for other than pride and trying to improve every week. Now, let’s not forget these players are accustomed to losing, but they are also having to deal with sacrificing not being able to hang out like they normally would due to COVID-19.

All the while, they are practicing and being held accountable, unlike most of them have ever experienced.
