FSU football: Why postponing the Clemson game was the right decision
By Kelvin Hunt
Final Thoughts
The games at this point are scrimmages for one of the youngest teams in college football. It would have been great to get those reps against Clemson, but not at the risk of not being able to get the reps against Virginia and Duke afterward.
It also doesn’t send the right message to FSU’s players and their safety after preaching how important it has been all season to be able to play games.
I think this is important to point out. Despite the season going the way it has, FSU players have been doing all the right things to avoid contracting COVID-19. There has to be a sense of buy-in and belief in Mike Norvell for this to happen.
Why should they negate all of that effort because some irresponsible people at Clemson feel like they can do whatever they want because they are on top right now?
Exactly.
