FSU football: 3 keys to victory for Noles against Pittsburgh
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football will play Pittsburgh for the first time since 2013.
FSU football was rolled in their last outing by a 1-4 Louisville team after their biggest win of the season over North Carolina the week before.
It was a game that saw the ‘Noles offense start well, but the defense quickly allowed the air out of the team’s sails with Louisville scoring touchdowns at will.
That liability on defense began to affect the offense to, as Nole receivers couldn’t catch a sack of footballs against Louisville.
Now, the football team enters the Pittsburgh game after two weeks to prepare. The bye week has given quarterback Jordan Travis time to heal up, as he was banged up in the Louisville game, which limited his ability to run.
The bye week has given Tamorrion Terry a chance to play after having a procedure done on his knee after the Notre Dame game.
The Panthers head into the game against FSU football, coming off their bye week, where it looks like they will not have their starting quarterback Kenny Pickett.
They also lost their best safety this week as he opted out for the rest of the season to enter the NFL Draft.
This game is the most important one on the schedule now, and a win here could give the program something to build on. Here are my top three keys to victory.
