October 31st– BYE WEEK – All of that brings us to this week. Today, I would say that the program is better off than it was after the Georgia Tech game, even more so the Miami game. We can play the “if’s and buts” game to weasel our way into a 3-3 or 4-2 record in our minds, but that is the only place it’ll be.

This week isn’t a reset week, we had one of those going into Miami, and it didn’t work. We have a foundation now, it was hard to establish one in the spring and summer for obvious reasons, and unfortunately, it had to be established against the likes of Miami, Notre Dame, and UNC.

It still looks shaky, so I want the staff to focus on cementing their foundations. Wide receivers are putting in extra time on the JUGS machine, the O-line is lightyears better than it was against Georgia Tech and Miami, and we could be looking to get Hamsah Nasiraldeen and Tamarion Terry back for this home stretch.

We could have been 0-6 or 1-5, we could have been 4-2, right now we are 2-4, and we have to keep building.
