Accountability

Accountability is an area that must be held to a standard, and I believe that is the case with this coaching staff. We are still seeing dumb personal foul penalties in games, and those players are being pulled from the game immediately after it happens.

That wasn’t happening under the old regime. However, there’s one thing I’m noticing that’s not being acceptable.

There is too much celebrating by players making tackles after opposing players have gained massive amounts of yardage.

That’s something that needs to end ASAP because that’s a loser look at me type mentality. That’s players looking to ‘get there’s’ even though they are getting blown out by at 1-4 Louisville team.

Want to end the dumb personal fouls? Take them out of the game entirely, and don’t allow them to go back in. Also, I’m not sure exactly how they are punishing these players other than taking them out of the game at the time the foul is committed.

However, I’d vote for the ENTIRE team running or something each time a player commits a personal foul penalty. That forces the players to hold one another accountable. Nobody wants to be the reason the entire team has to run. I’d vote this needs to happen every time a player celebrates after making a tackle that goes for a big gain.
