Former Players Want To And Will Help

It’s an area I’ve always wondered about regarding former players. I’ve voiced this on social media recently, but most of the former players seem to have more allegiance to who coached them at FSU instead of the program.

I know some former players reached out to the last staff and seemed to get the cold shoulder for whatever reason. I do understand it’s something that needs to be structured and organized.

FSU coaches can’t allow just any former play to come in and try to help  as there is something to having too many voices. However, it was great to see this on Twitter after the Louisville game:

Hayes was drafted in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft after a productive career at FSU. He was first-team All-ACC in 2007 with 80 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks.

What FSU linebacker has had that type of production since? Other players have reached out and offered to help, so it’s great to see former players taking interest in helping get FSU football back to where it’s supposed to be.
