Turnovers

FSU football turning the ball over is nothing new over the past few years. They’ve plagued them against quality competition, and something we pointed out in the Miami game.

Guess what? They turned it over three times against Georgia Tech and Miami. The had one turnover against Jacksonville State that was returned for a touchdown as we all know.

The good news is Jordan Travis hasn’t shown a propensity to turn the ball over yet. He did have a terrible interception against Miami, but that was more of him not wanting to take a sack and trying to make something happen than anything else.

FSU can’t afford to turn the ball over even once, and if they turn it over multiple times it’s going to get ugly.

Remember what happened when FSU football traveled to Notre Dame in 2018? Deondre Francois threw an interception on the second play of the game, and it was 7-0 in less than a minute.

They fumbled it away two-possessions after that, and it was 17-0 after the first quarter and the game was essentially over.
