The long-term effects of this game will dictate the rest of the season. I said going into it that this result will have a 4-win swing.

If we had lost to JSU, I don’t think FSU football would have won a game the entire season. With the win under their belt, some of the offensive complications figured out, they could win a couple more games, especially if Travis keeps playing well or Chubba Purdy emerges.

This outcome is vital going into the game against Notre Dame, to at least put out a good product. However, with the current coronavirus outbreak within the Notre Dame program, the upcoming game could be postponed.

If that happens, that would give the coaches more time to install the offense, and hopefully, Adam Fuller can do something to fix the defense.

I’m confident in stealing one against Louisville or UNC, and a win against Virginia and Duke.

This game worked perfectly, in my opinion. We started shakily, the team “responded” (as everyone likes to say), and everyone was able to get right and get some momentum.
