The solution at quarterback is more convoluted than it was last week. Don’t get me wrong, Travis played phenomenally, but how will he play against better defenses?

Travis, for the past couple of years, has been a secret weapon of sorts and there were questions about his capabilities as a passer. I think he still hasn’t answered those. He did have a couple of 40+ yard throws, which showed that he has the ability, but his timing seemed off on those routes too.

The Helton touchdown was a 41-yard throw, pretty much all in the air, but Helton had to stop his route and come back to the ball and would have been intercepted against better defenses.

Travis should have decided that was his throw earlier and allowed Helton to run under it.

It was a similar situation with the 48-yard throw to Tamorrion Terry. Terry looked like he had to flatten his route to come back to the ball.

It’ll be interesting to see how teams will adjust with Travis under center, but more importantly, if Mike Norvell will be able to adjust to what they do.
