FSU football will look to get the first win of the Mike Norvell era Saturday against Jacksonville State. Here are the three things we need to see Saturday.

What a first two games for FSU football huh? We’ve spent all week reeling from the unexpected, looking for answers as to what went wrong.

The good news is a few of the things that went wrong were self-inflicted, which means they can be corrected.

A lot of it was decision-making and simply want to when it comes to blocking, especially the wide receivers and filling gaps with the linebackers.

Defensively, that unit hasn’t come close to living up to expectations this season, and Adam Fuller has a lot to correct. However, looking back, we shouldn’t have been too surprised Miami scored at will against Fuller’s defense.

SMU did the same thing against Memphis last season, but Memphis had the offense to outscore them by one possession. Of course, SMU is where Miami’s offensive coordinator came from to right the ship for their offense.

There is a question of want to with some of the older players in this program, and that should never be the case when it comes to competing, especially in a rivalry game against a program like Miami.

I’m not sure how much we’ll learn from the Jacksonville State game Saturday, but here are three things I need to see from this FSU football team.
