Two Quarterbacks

FSU’s offense was able to move the ball against Georgia Tech, but penalties and turnovers hurt a lot of their drives.

Miami’s defense will be better than Georgia Tech, so I think the Noles will need to pull out all of the stops on offense.

They had problems establishing a running game against the Yellow Jackets, that’ why I think it’s important to run James Blackman to keep Miami’s defense honest.

I know you’re thinking, that will get James Blackman crushed, but he’s probably going to be hit anyways. Blackman, as part of the running game will be unexpected and could open up some plays downfield in the passing game.

Jordan Travis should see some time in this game too. Travis has shown he’s a playmaker with his legs, so I think it’ll be important to use him at different points in the game.

It’ll likely be predictable he’s coming in to run the ball, but that’s been the case anyway, and he’s still found some success.

I’m not sure I’d play Tate Rodemaker, but if James Blackman stinks it up, it might be worth putting Rodemaker in there to see what he can do.

I wouldn’t put Chubba Purdy in at all, and I’d wait until Jacksonville State to play him.
