After FSU Football lost against Georgia Tech last Saturday, Chop Chat’s Sam Tschida takes a look at how the true freshmen played against the Yellow Jackets.

It’s been a full week since FSU football fell to the Yellow Jackets to open the 2020 season, and the performance that the ‘Noles put on is still a bit hard to swallow.

While it is understandable that a program with a new coaching staff and almost no offseason wouldn’t look perfect, FSU fans were expecting much better results on the field as twelve-point favorites against Georgia Tech.

An anemic offense and slow defense were the main culprits for the loss, along with almost too many injuries to count.

There aren’t a whole lot of positives to look at in Tallahassee right now. The Noles don’t look like they’ll be very decent this year, coach Mike Norvell was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 (get better coach!), and Gordos just closed again for renovations.

However, with all the negatives, there were a few good things that happened against Tech, chief among them being the play of the true freshmen from Tribe20. Let’s look at how they played against the Jackets.
