FSU football had a huge game Saturday against arch-rival Miami. Here are three things we learned from their game against Louisville.

It’s rivalry week as FSU football travels to take on arch-rival No. 12 Miami Saturday night in prime time.

A lot of people are counting the Noles out in this one after their opening game loss to Georgia Tech as double-digit betting favorites.

The Canes opened at -9.5 betting favorites over the Noles after beating the Louisvlle Cardinals last week to move to (2-0) on the season.

The betting line has moved up to -11 with Mike Norvell sidelined with COVID-19 and bettors having little to no faith in what they saw against Georgia Tech.

Miami didn’t look great in their opening game against UAB, and I thought their game against Louisville would be a better indicator of what they’ll bring to the table Saturday night.

That sentiment came to fruition somewhat, but that game showed the Cardinals are worse on defense than I thought. I’ve said all offseason Lousiville was being overhyped by the media, and I still think that’s the case although they do have ways to score points.

We’ll talk more about Louisville when that game comes about in a few weeks, but here are three things we learned about Miami after their contest with the Cardinals.
