Honorable Mention

There were a couple of other players I wanted to mention that stood out too. FSU defensive back Renardo Green made his presence felt.

The redshirt freshman was second on the team with nine tackles (6 solo) and shared a tackle for loss.

The other player I want to highlight was Travis Jay. Jay exceled on special teams as he had one punt return for 16 yards and averaged 25 yards on three kickoff returns.

He also played defense and had one tackle. Jay is a player too electric to not get on the field more in some capacity.

Freshman Stephen Dix Jr. also showed flashes and finished the game with four tackles and shared a tackle for loss.

Overall, the Noles needed a stronger showing all across the board. Here’s to hoping they can get it figured out in the next two weeks.
