FSU Run Game Against Georgia Tech D-Line

One of the biggest questions about this FSU offense is the running game. The loss of Cam Akers can’t be understated, and while the Noles have a talented group of running backs, there are still a lot of knowns going into Saturday.

The good news is, Georgia Tech’s defense allowed 4.79 yards per carry in 2019. We’ve already mentioned how they were not that disruptive, with a small number of tackles for loss.

Similar to the passing game, FSU’s ability or inability to run the ball Saturday will tell us a lot about where this team is and what’s possible.

If Jashaun Corbin and La’Damian Webb combine for 150 yards plus on the ground, it’ll probably be a good day for the good guys.

If the run game struggles, I won’t say it’s the end of the world with it being the first game in a new offense, but at least they have a bye week afterward to try and figure some things out before traveling to Miami.
