FSU football will take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the first game of the 2020 season. Here are five questions with our Georgia Tech experts from FanSided.

We have discussed how FSU football taking on Georgia Tech is the most important game of the season a few days ago.

The Noles are considered double-digit betting favorites with the opening line of -11 points up to -13 at some betting sites according, to The Action Network.

Can the Noles cover the spread? Who will be the starting quarterbackf or Georgia Tech Saturday afternoon? We discuss that and more in the interview below.

FSU football has been established in the FanSided network for a while with our coverage of the Noles.

We’re lucky enough to have a FanSided site dedicated to covering Georgia Tech sports.

I was fortunate enough to discuss five questions with Georgia Tech expert Dylan Callaghan-Croley from Yellow Jacked Up.

Check them out for all things Georgia Tech sports. The questions and answers are transcribed below:

Chopchat:  Georgia Tech beat the Noles in their last matchup as betting underdogs. What’s the overall feeling from those around the program and fans? Are they confident/optimistic going into the game considering the circumstances of the unknown with FSU having a new coaching staff?

Yellow Jacked Up:  I would say right now there is a sense of optimism around the program heading into year two of the Geoff Collins era. A lot of people do know there won’t be a huge jump in how well the Jackets perform on the field but improvement is definitely expected. You add in that sense of optimism about taking a few steps forward on the field and add in FSU’s own struggles the last few seasons and there’s definitely a good portion of the fan base that thinks Tech can win on Saturday. Other portions of the fan base think the Jackets will at least keep it close but a win may be asking for a little too much.  But overall, I think there’s a sense of optimism but also uncertainty because of the lack of a true offseason.
