As FSU football fall camp has concluded, here is a look at how we predict the Noles depth chart will shake out heading into the season.

FSU football is less than a week away from opening the season against Georgia Tech. Here we’ll be looking at how some of the position battles are unfolding and trying to project who the starters will be.

We don’t have any crystal balls, and there’s a ton of talent on the roster. In some cases, there’s no such thing as a “starter” because FSU could use rotations and situational players.

Here’s how we think things could potentially shake out as we officially enter game week:

Defensive Line

Starters
DE-Joshua Kaindoh (FOX position, Janarius Robinson(Field position), Derrick McClendon (Back up), Quashon Fuller (FOX back up), Josh Griffis (FOX back up)
DT-Marvin Wilson, Cory Durden
NG-Robert Cooper, Fabian Lovett (Back up), Tru Thompsom (Back up), Malcolm Ray (Back up)

This defensive line has the potential to be among the best in the country. There’s talent, experience, and excellent depth here to give opposing offenses problems for 60 minutes.

The biggest question mark continues to be the pass rush, though reports about Joshua Kaindoh have been promising from fall camp.

The interior of the defensive line will be stout against the run and should allow the linebackers to flourish in 2020.
