FSU Football Will Defeat BOTH Miami and Louisville

Both Miami and Lousiville were picked to finish higher than FSU football in the ACC preseason. I’m not sure why, as Miami had the same record as FSU last season, and FSU has beaten Louisville the last two years with Willie Taggart as head coach.

It is true Miami has beaten the Noles three consecutive years, but FSU gave Miami two of those wins and last year was one of the most unprepared FSU teams I’ve ever seen going into a rivalry game of that magnitude.

Miami’s offensive line is about as bad as FSU’s, and they’ll have a new offense to learn while losing their best player, Gregory Rousseau, who opted-out of the 2020 season.

Miami is coached by Manny Diaz, who hasn’t impressed me yet.

I think Louisville is getting the Syracuse treatment. What do I mean by that?  Well, Syracuse wasn’t good in 2017 and came out of nowhere to win 10 games the following season. A lot of people expected them to be good last season, but they were one of the worst teams in the conference.

I don’t think Louisville will fall off that badly because Scott Satterfield is a good coach, but just because they went from two wins in 2018 to eight wins in 2019 doesn’t mean they’ll be world beaters in 2020.

I think FSU beats BOTH of these teams for the first time since 2015.
