Mike Norvell will win ACC Coach of the Year

The perception is FSU’s recruiting has fallen off drastically, and they aren’t as talented as years before.

However, FSU football is arguably the most talented team in the conference behind Clemson.

The FSU most have watched over the past two years is a shell of what it used to be. However, any upgrade in coaching and organization should make the team appear much better during games.

I know Bobby Bowden or Jimbo Fisher never won ACC Coach of the Year honors, but this season will be the perfect opportunity to make it happen.

The expectations are low, the perception of the program isn’t great, and Mike Norvell will probably receive more credit for winning seven or eight games this year than under normal circumstances.

However, I do expect this team to play differently this year. I think we’ll see competitiveness we haven’t seen in quite some time, and that, coupled with talent, should equate to more success than we’ve experienced the past three seasons.
