Secondary

This FSU football secondary is arguably one of the most talented units in the nation. It consists of almost entirely blue-chip players.

The only problem was the unit didn’t receive the best coaching and had to deal with a defensive front that couldn’t get pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

The Noles return a lot of experience in 2020:  Asante Samuel Jr., Hamsah Nasirildeen, Akeem Dent, Meiko Dotson, Cyrus Fagan, Renardo Green, Jaiden Lars-Woodbey, Raymond Woodie, and Brendan Gant to name a few.

Then they bring in redshirt freshman Travis Jay, Demorie Tate, and transfer Jarrian Jones into the mix.

I expect this unit to be improved this season. There’s more talent in this unit overall compared to last season and a lot of experience.
