What happens in the QB battle?

James Blackman has separated himself from his competition thus far, but does he stays consistent?

I think so, and that has been the question surrounding his whole career. He needs consistent coaching, which he has, and he needs to keep this momentum, but that isn’t the storyline I want to focus on.

With Rector moving to tight end, and that position being strapped too, who will get to work as an emergency QB?

Chubba Purdy was pushing the quarterback room forward, but now, with this six-week injury sidelining him, who will the staff try to throw back there?

Ja’khi Douglas has experience from high school, and he is already kind of a “flex” player in this offense, but there are still more options.

My biggest question heading into tomorrow is who will get work at emergency QB, and will physicality be ratcheted back because of the recent injuries?
